Patrick O’Dea, from child prodigy to dancing master, specialising in the Munster tradition. Patrick has an unparalleled knowledge of Old Style Step Dancing, its origins and history. He is highly respected as both a performer and teacher and is warmly welcomed to Lurgan as a visiting tutor in our on-going programme of Saturday workshops.

Patrick started dancing at the age of five and was teaching by the time he was as teenager; he is recognised as a foremost authority in his field. Patrick teaches world-wide and is the resident Advanced Tutor at the week-long Willie Clancy Festival.

Please note that you can park behind the Town Hall or further down that street (drop me a line if you need further details), Lurgan also hosts Northern Ireland's largest Urban Parkland, just 10 minutes walk from the venue if you would like to arrive early and take a wander. Or for the shoppers among you, Lurgan is just a few miles from Rushmere, a large indoor shopping centre in Craigavon.
