For intermediate and advanced players only, this ensemble class is a chance to play traditional tunes together in a group setting. Led by the brilliant Catriona Gribben, the focus is on musicality, listening, and developing your ensemble skills.

Catriona Gribben is a multi-instrumentalist from the Gaeltacht region of Gaoth Dobhair, Co. Donegal. A fluent performer on accordion, piano, guitar, and tin whistle, she grew up deeply immersed in Irish music, song, and culture — a foundation that shines through in her natural, expressive style.

She holds a First-Class Honours degree in Music and Audio Production from Queen’s University Belfast and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Research. Catriona has toured extensively with the traditional band An Crann Óg, performing across Ireland, the UK, Germany, and the USA. She now plays with Huartan, The Mary Wallopers, and Lonesome George, and plays a central role in Belfast’s vibrant traditional music scene, including events at Queen’s University.
