Hiring a harp for use during a term of classes involves: (1) enrolling in a term of classes, (2) paying a deposit before your first term, (3) purchasing this hire agreement. Hire is not confirmed until hire fee and deposit are BOTH paid.

Terms and Conditions of Instrument Hire:

1). Instruments must be hired only for use by enrolled BelfastTrad students.
2). The instrument must be hired for a minimum of one term and a MAXIMUM OF 3 CONSECUTIVE TERMS or one year.
3). The student is responsible for the safety and good condition of the instrument and will be liable for any costs incurred for repairs due to accident or negligence.
4). The student is responsible for replacing the instrument in case of its loss or destruction.
5). Replacement strings, tuners or reeds are the responsibility of the student.
6). Students must be a £50 deposit, this is returnable provided instrument is returned on time and in the same condition previous to hire.

By completing this purchase you agree to the above conditions of hire.

Please be aware that these are very big and heavy instruments. They weigh approximately 20 kg (this is my best guess not an actual measurement). Most people would struggle to carry it any real distance and it is too big and delicate for taking on the bus! Access to a car to get it safely to and from class is therefore a prerequisite for renting a harp.
