A welcoming and inclusive introduction to Irish set dancing for members of the LGBTQIA+ community and allies. Come along to learn the steps, meet new people and experience the enjoyment and connection of dancing together.

Alexa Moore is a human rights advocate and set dancer from Newry, County Down. She established Queer Set Dancing in Belfast in 2022 and now leads regular fortnightly classes at The MAC, creating a friendly, beginner-focused space that introduces the tradition to new people and communities.

No previous dance experience is required. This is a relaxed drop-in workshop, so you are welcome to join at any time throughout the afternoon.
