Learn to Play for Dancers Workshop with James McCaffrey (Flute) & Michael Curran (Accordion) 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM A practical session for melody instrument players (fiddle, flute, whistle, etc.) at intermediate level and above. Learn how to play for set and céilí dancers with members of the Blackwater Céilí Band, focusing on the tunes, rhythm, and lift that make great dance music.

Dancing Workshop with Berni Corr McGinley 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM Berni has a strong background in traditional Irish music and dance and has been a tutor with BelfastTrad for several years.

Small Céilí 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM Both classes come together for a small céilí, putting the tunes and dance steps into practice.
